Slack Delivers Walk-Off Win for Pirates
Pirates fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

The Pittsburgh Pirates topped the Atlanta Braves, 5-4, in National League action at PNC Park. The standout performance belonged to Pittsburgh pitcher and Nellieburg, Mississippi, native Ben Drennen. Pittsburgh, with the win, is 2-0.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Pittsburgh left fielder Eric Slack, facing Jonathan de la Cruz, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Pirates the 5-4 win.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Drennen told the Pittsburgh Citizen.
