The New York Yankees got a superb performance from pitcher Alex Molina. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Texas. The Rangers won the game, 4-3. Molina threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Dan Blystone notched his 6th save in 8 chances. Texas has now won 3 in a row.

Mike D'Amico drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Texas. The 26-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Edgar Leal. It was his 3rd walk of the season.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said New York manager Jose Mosquera.
