Dodgers Slap 2-0 Loss on Mariners
|
Josh O'Neal could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Seattle Mariners lost, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Los Angeles Dodgers at T-Mobile Park. Alex Cardenas, 10-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. Chris Chambers earned save number 30 this season.
Mitch Drew, the 2032 Rookie of the Year Award winner , had a direct impact on the outcome. Drew contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put Los Angeles up, 2-0.
"Winning is contagious," said Drew. "We're looking forward to the next game."
Los Angeles is now 78-61.
