Marlins Stumble, Lose to Mets
|
New York Mets starter Jake Berlin had all his pitches working at Citi Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 New York win over the Miami Marlins. The 7th-place Mets have a record of 58-80.
New York grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Sergio Arellano delivered a 2-run single, to make it 4-2 in favor of the Mets.
"Nothing fazes Jake," said New York manager Matt Young.
