He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Washington is second in the American League East Division with a record of 79-43.

Ian Peters helped the Washington cause with one out in the bottom of the sixth. Batting with the bases loaded and Washington leading 2-1, he hit a sacrifice fly.
