Raucous Miller Park Crowd Propels Brewers to 4-3 Victory; Series Tied at 1
The Milwaukee Brewers nearly wasted a strong game from starter Carter Boyd, but were saved by some timely hitting in a walk-off win over the Cleveland Spiders today.

Boyd threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The win allowed Milwaukee to force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-5 Division Series.

Milwaukee won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two outs and Daniel Higuera on the mound for Cleveland, third baseman Kaito Kozono hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Brewers fans to their feet.

"It feels a lot better to be tied than to be behind, even if it is only one game," Milwaukee manager Sang-min Oh said.

Game 3 is scheduled for Tuesday at Progressive Field in Cleveland.
