Spiders Down Outlaws, 5-2
|
The Cleveland Spiders and Nashville Outlaws put on quite a show.
The Cleveland Spiders dealt the Nashville Outlaws a 5-2 loss at HCA Park. Jeremy Lux was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Tony Cabello finished the game for Cleveland and earned his 1st save.
Lux had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a first pitch fastball from Jon McNellis, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Spiders a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Lux.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Lux.
Nashville's current losing streak is now 5 games.
