San Francisco Wins at Home to Narrow Series Deficit to 2-1
The San Francisco Giants have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Cleveland Spiders, winning 11-2 at Oracle Park today. Giants second baseman Drew Bowser went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The win cuts the deficit facing the Giants to 2-1 in the best-of-5 Division Series.

The Giants took a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. Facing Cleveland hurler Dylan MacLean with two outs, Bowser hit a 2-run double.

"We came out aggressive," said Giants manager Tom Kramer. "We came out swinging the bats."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Oracle Park in San Francisco.
