Boston Sweeps into the League Championship Series
The Boston Red Sox have swept the Colorado Rockies and are on to the League Championship Series. Boston won 3-1 today at Fenway Park to clinch the Division Series.

"We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Boston left fielder Corbin Carroll, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning."

Carroll won the award with a .667 batting average and a .727 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 1 runs.

The Boston Red Sox don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Francisco Giants - Cleveland Spiders series. Cleveland leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 18th , 2028.
