Los Angeles Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in WS
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of right fielder Micker Adolfo, the Los Angeles Angels stopped the visiting San Francisco Giants, 7-2, in Game 3 of the World Series today. Adolfo was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Angels, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.
Hunter Jump helped out the Los Angeles cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Jump told the Los Angeles Chronicle.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim.
