Rockies Hammered by Pomares, Drop Game 3 to Giants
Riding the 2-hit performance of designated hitter Jairo Pomares, the San Francisco Giants got a road win against the Colorado Rockies, 10-5, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series today. Pomares hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Giants, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

San Francisco used the bat of Hunter Bishop to get the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Giants ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it did its damage.

Bishop called the triumph "a good team win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Coors Field in Denver.
