Cincinnati Edges Cleveland, 3-2, Olvera Ks 12
|
Orlando Olvera was outstanding against Cleveland. The left-hander, who is a three-time Cy Young Award winner, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Reds 3-2 win. The win elevated the Reds to 61-48.
Olvera delivered a quality start for Cincinnati. The 6' 4" left-hander allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 7.1 innings of work.
"I liked his command," said Cincinnati manager Daniel Butler. "Orlando was throwing strikes."
