Isotopes Prevail, as Round 1 Goes to the Wire
A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Albuquerque Isotopes outlasting the Reno Aces to advance to the Round 2.

Albuquerque won the final game by a score of 6-4 and took the series 3-2.

"We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Albuquerque left fielder Marcell Ozuna, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP.

Ozuna hit .450 with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Albuquerque Isotopes will play against the Wichita Wind Surge in the next round. Wichita won their series against the Omaha Storm Chasers 3 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
