Astros Hold Off Yankees, 4-3
|
Houston picked up a win at Yankee Stadium, toppling the New York Yankees, 4-3. Pitcher Pat Reeves was one of the reasons the Astros triumphed. With the win, the Astros have a record of 56-51.
Houston used the bat of Nick Ferris to get the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Astros ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
Reeves attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
