Spiders Win, 6-1, at San Francisco
|
Cleveland starter Ramon Rosas put a stranglehold on the San Francisco offense. The right-hander had complete command of his changeup in leading the Spiders to a 6-1 win. The 4th-place Spiders have won 7 straight.
Dylan Carmouche made an early impact for Cleveland when he stroked his 32nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with two out in the top of the third, put the Spiders on top, 4-0.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Cleveland manager Adam Wainwright.
