Blue Jays Lose to Expos, 5-1
|
The Montreal Expos beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-1, at Gary Carter Field. Starting pitcher Omari Blunt was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Montreal, with the win, climbs to 27-71.
Luis Ledesma aided the Montreal cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk.
Ledesma told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.
