Menjivar 5-for-5 for Minnesota

Minnesota left fielder Bobby Menjivar could do no wrong in today's 6-3 win over the Red Sox as he collected 5 hits.
"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Red Sox skipper Josh Conway said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."
Menjivar agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.
"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
Bobby Menjivar singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
Menjivar on the season is batting .344 with 5 home runs. His totals include 36 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has played in 84 games.
