Spiders Suffer 5-2 Loss to Milwaukee
|
The Milwaukee Brewers picked up a win at Miller Park, taking down the Cleveland Spiders, 5-2. Starting pitcher Danny Betancourt was a big reason why. Betancourt, the winner, moves to 8-6. He threw 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up no walks. The Brewers, at 38-51, sit in 5th place in the American League West Division.
Rogelio Ramires hit a 2-run double off Ramon Rosas in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Brewers in front, 4-2. In addition to the double, Ramires had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Ramires said after the game.
