Bats Fail for Rays in 7-0 Loss
|
St. Louis beat Tampa Bay on the strength of starter Tomás Givotovsky's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-0. The Rays, at 26-55, have lost 10 straight games.
The Rays had little chance against Givotovsky, who overpowered Tampa Bay hitters and struck out 13.
"Feels good to get the job done," Givotovsky said after the game.
