Behind a fine performance from Juan Figueroa, the Cincinnati Reds knocked off the Seattle Mariners, 11-3. Figueroa was 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Reds. Geoff Jackson got the win, improving to 8-12. He worked 7.1 innings, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 1. The second-place Reds have won 6 in a row.
