Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Astros
The Houston Astros beat the Cincinnati Reds, 7-4, at Great American Ball Park. Houston first baseman Steven Papps had an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The first-place Astros, at 93-62, now lead their division by 3½ games.

Houston used a clutch hit from Arturo Flores to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Astros ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Papps told the Houston Today.
