Big Day for Wright in 7-3 Twins Win
Getting offensive support from Eric Wright, the Minnesota Twins topped the Arizona Diamondbacks, 7-3. Wright went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Twins. Minnesota pitcher Bobby Kever got the win, upping his record to 3-0. Ken Clancy got the loss. Minnesota, now 41-23, holds down first place in the American League West Division.

Shing Su-Tu took Ken Clancy deep in the top of the third. His 3-run home run put the Twins on top, 5-2. In all, Su-Tu had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Wright told the Minnesota News: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."
