Mariners Stick Rays with 3-1 Loss
|
The Seattle Mariners went home winners at T-Mobile Park, thanks in large part to starter Mike Parga. Parga stifled the Tampa Bay Rays, enabling Seattle to grab the 3-1 win. Seattle is now 24-30.
In the bottom of the first, Jimmy Bush hit a 2-run home run. The 8th home run of the season for the Seattle first baseman put the Mariners on top, 2-1.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Seattle manager John Foley.
