The Texas Rangers eked out a 2-1 win versus the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jose Cervantes. He was terrific. Franklin Galvan, now 2-3, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 1. The save was credited to Rodrigo Acevedo, his 14th.

Texas took a 2-1 lead on Jose Plascencia's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Plascencia hit in the top of the seventh, left Milwaukee pitcher Brad Burman visibly frustrated.

"Every loss hurts," said Milwaukee manager Shawn Blackwell. "But this was a tough one."

With the win, the Rangers have a record of 21-31.
