Blue Jays Lose to Red Sox in Walk Off
The Boston Red Sox had to overcome a fine performance from Toronto pitcher Luis Flores to grab a 3-2 win at Fenway Park. Flores allowed 1 run over 6 innings. Jose Perez earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 1-1. The win makes Boston 37-16.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Boston trailing 2-1, Petey Halpin jumped on a 1-0 fastball from Donnie Brown for a 2-run home run, sending the Red Sox to a walk-off win.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Halpin told reporters after the game.
