The Houston Astros weathered an outstanding game by Cleveland left fielder Dylan Carmouche to topple the Spiders, 6-5. Carmouche went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Josh Juel earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. Houston, at 22-26, holds down 6th place in the National League West Division.

Houston won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With two outs and Geoff Cushner on the mound for Cleveland, second baseman Kaito Kozono hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Astros fans to their feet.

"That's a solid team effort right there," said Kozono. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
