Houston Beats Toronto, 3-1
|
In a well-pitched game between the Houston Astros and the Toronto Blue Jays, pitcher Pat Reeves was fantastic. The Houston right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Josh Juel earned the save for Houston, his 7th of the year. The Astros raised their record to 21-22.
It could have been a different outcome for Houston, had it not been for Roman Palmere, the slugging designated hitter . Palmere contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put Houston up, 2-0.
Reeves told a Houston Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
