Astros Lose to Expos, 3-1
|
Ben Pratt was a vital contributor to the 3-1 Montreal victory over Houston. The Expos third baseman was 2-3 with a double. Josh Lacy earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record is now 2-0. Darius Osborne picked up the save for Montreal, his 1st of the year.
In the bottom of the fourth, Montreal designated hitter Ivan Botero had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out, Botero stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 2-0, Montreal. For the game, he went 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Pratt said after the game.
The Expos sport a record of 14-23.
