WBC News: Pre-Tournament Begins

Not a pitch has been thrown, but the 2038 World Baseball Classic is almost under way. The competition schedule was released today, signaling the start of the preseason and sending teams and fans alike scrambling to analyze the biggest matchups. With Opening Day only weeks off, teams will also now start to make final decisions on their rosters.
This year's tournament will be held in the host city of San Miguel, San Miguel, El Salvador.
