Twins Suffer 3-2 Home Defeat
The Toronto Blue Jays locked up a win at Target Field, knocking off the Minnesota Twins, 3-2. On the mound for Toronto was right-hander Sawyer Gipson-Long. He played a major role in the triumph. The Blue Jays raised their record to 51-86.

Toronto used a well-timed hit by Ezequiel Pagan to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"Sawyer was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Toronto manager Kurt Schulze.
