Sonny Gray of the Chicago Cubs put on a pitching clinic at Wrigley Field, as he struck out 17 Minnesota Twins in a 4-0 victory. Gray, who finished 5th in the NL in ERA with 2.87 in 2019, was simply magnificent, holding the Twins to 3 hits. He walked 1.

"I felt okay at the beginning," Gray said, "but eventually my fastball really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game."

When asked about Gray's performance, Cubs manager Brian Gryka shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating."

So far this year, Gray has a 10-5 record with a 2.47 ERA.
