Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Truist Park.

The Atlanta Braves handed the Pittsburgh Pirates a 5-3 loss in 10 innings at Truist Park. Willi Castro, who is tied for 2nd in the NL in stolen bases with 24, was the star on offense. He was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. Atlanta is now 38-44, Pittsburgh 40-42.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Castro hit a fastball from Roansy Contreras for a 2-run home run. The Braves, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Castro said.
