The Cleveland Guardians rode a solid performance from 25-year-old starting pitcher Bryce Miller to a win, beating the Miami Marlins, 9-2, at loanDepot Park. John King earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. With the win, Cleveland raised its record to 34-31.

Cleveland first baseman Ryan Mountcastle helped his team get ahead early. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.

"We took home the win," said Mountcastle. "What's not to like?"
