The Red Sox grabbed a win, 8-7, at Fenway Park, overcoming a fine effort from Atlanta pitcher MacKenzie Gore. Gore went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Red Sox go to 25-36 with the win.

Batting in the bottom of the tenth, 29-year old second baseman Cavan Biggio had a real shot to win the game. Atlanta pitcher JoJo Romero was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Biggio hit a run-scoring single. The Red Sox had a walk-off triumph.

"This place was rockin'," Biggio said.
