Cardinals Suffer 6-4 Road Loss
|
The Cincinnati Reds defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-4. Doing his part was right fielder Juan Soto, who slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. After today's action, Cincinnati sits at 27-28, while St. Louis falls to 23-31.
With Cincinnati trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Soto hit a curveball from Keegan Thompson for a 2-run home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Reds ahead, 3-2.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Soto told the Cincinnati Bulletin.
