The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the Boston Red Sox, 8-3. On the mound for Tampa Bay was right-hander Luis Castillo. He played a key role in the triumph. In 7 innings, Castillo surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. The win elevated the Rays to 22-22.

Shea Langeliers had a big bases-clearing triple for the Rays in the top of the sixth inning. With Tampa Bay leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Cade Cavalli and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rays ahead, 5-1.

"Luis giving us the start that he did was huge," said Tampa Bay manager Shaun Young.
