Miami, Texas Swap Players Thursday, June 28th , 2029 After a week of negotiations, the Marlins and Rangers have come to terms on a deal that will send 26-year old RHP Bob Dowd, 34-year old RHP Gerson Bautista, and 18-year old minor league 2B Sergio Carmona to Texas for 33-year old RHP Freddy Peralta, 29-year old RHP Riley Cornelio, 25-year old minor league LHP Griffin Agee, and 25-year old minor league RHP Scott Vaughan. In 15 starts this year Dowd has posted 2 wins while suffering 4 losses. He has pitched 101 innings, allowed 94 hits, struck out 75 and has a 4.10 ERA. Peralta has made 15 starts so far this year and put up a 4-6 won-lost record with a 5.56 ERA. In 68 innings he has allowed 78 hits, walked 23 and struck out 87. |
