Hillman Sits Out with Day-to-Day Injury Saturday, June 16th , 2029 Milwaukee's star starting pitcher Gabe Hillman injured himself in a game against the Chicago Cubs, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as an elbow sprain and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Hillman with a smile as he talked to reporters. This year Hillman has recorded a 6-7 mark. In 15 starts he has fanned 108 batters in 95.1 innings with a 3.87 ERA. |
