Toronto's Brown Gets AL Player of the Week Monday, June 4th , 2029 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Ed Brown, the Toronto Blue Jays 23-year-old third baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for American League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 9 hits in 21 at-bats, compiling a .429 average with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. For the season Brown is hitting .300, batted in 49 runs with 12 home runs and 48 runs scored. |
