Los Angeles Starting Pitcher Best AL Rookie Friday, June 1st , 2029 First-year pitcher Bob Trueblood is already paying dividends to his club, the Los Angeles Angels. In May his solid mound performance earned him the American League Rookie of the Month honors. Trueblood compiled a 4-1 record and a 2.65 ERA while hurling 34 innings. He held the opposition to a .234 average and rang up 44 strikeouts. For the season Trueblood has compiled a 6-1 record with a 3.12 ERA. |
