Royals Swap Bellows to Cardinals for Sanchez Thursday, April 19th , 2029 Trade winds have been blowing through Kansas City. This time, a deal has materialized between the Royals and Cardinals. According to sources inside the organization, Kansas City will ship 22-year old CF Matthew Bellows to St. Louis for 23-year old CF Pablo Sanchez, 22-year old minor league RHP Ernesto Castaner, 24-year old minor league CF T.J. McGarry, 20-year old minor league CF Ilusuarte Dures, and 20-year old minor league 3B Clyde Torkle. Thus far this year Bellows has hit .362 with 1 home run and 10 RBIs. This year Sanchez is hitting .143 with 1 home run and 4 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .247 clip and scored 6 runs. |
