Bridgerton's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Wednesday, August 13th , 2053 Anthony Bridgerton's return to the China Grove Samurai has been delayed. The 26-year-old third baseman has been in treatment for an oblique strain and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Bridgerton will not be back as originally diagnosed. He will now be out at least one week. So far in 2053 Bridgerton is batting .271 with 13 home runs, 62 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 115 hits in 425 at-bats and a .324 OBP. |
