Santana Has Nagging Injury, Listed DTD Wednesday, July 2nd , 2053 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is César Santana of the San Diego Surf Dawgs, who suffered a sore elbow while throwing a pitch in yesterday's contest against California. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the San Diego organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 2 weeks the injury is expected to last. This season Santana has worked 96 innings with 77 strikeouts en route to a 10-4 record and a 3.66 ERA. |
