Year Over for Milkmen Cuomo
Sunday, September 21st , 2053
Milwaukee starting pitcher Bob Cuomo could miss the remainder of the season because of an elbow strain. He exited yesterday's Erie game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Cuomo would be out 4-5 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

This year in 29 starts, Cuomo has recorded 5 wins and absorbed 11 losses. He has pitched 146.1 innings, allowed 172 hits, struck out 104 and has a 4.31 ERA.
