Strike Three! Gonzales Out as Knights Manager Thursday, September 18th , 2053 In an expected move, the Charlotte Knights fired manager Abel Gonzales today. The team had not been performing up to expectations, and it was thought to be just a matter of time before the move was made. "We've decided to go in a different direction," Charlotte general manager Robert Cothran explained to the assembled press. "We'd like to thank Abel for his service and wish him well in the future." The organization has been mum on possible candidates for the position, but expect to name a replacement soon. |
