Charlotte Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 18th , 2053 Any faint hope of playoff contention the Charlotte Knights might have had is now a thing of the past -- the Knights was mathematically eliminated from postseason consideration today. The Knights have missed the playoffs 27 times in their 40 years as a Continental Baseball League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2044. In the last 10 seasons, the Knights have only made the playoffs once. Charlotte has won the CBL Premier Cup 2 times in their history. |
