Milwaukee Loses Rensch for Year
Tuesday, September 16th , 2053
The Milwaukee Milkmen were dealt a severe blow when Jeremy Rensch was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the San Diego Surf Dawgs. After the game, the team trainer reported Rensch might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 26-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a strained triceps. They indicated it would take Rensch at least 4-5 weeks to heal.

In 30 starts this season, Rensch has recorded 5 wins and absorbed 8 losses. He has pitched 142.1 innings, allowed 113 hits, struck out 153 and has a 3.73 ERA.
