Rehab Setback for Juan Rodríguez

Montgomery Biscuits third baseman Juan Rodríguez will now miss more time after sustaining a setback in his recovery from plantar fascitis. The setback is believed to be minor, but the timetable for his return has been pushed back an additional one week.
This season Rodríguez is batting .308 with 43 RBIs, 48 runs scored and 20 home runs.

New Orleans Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game

The New Orleans Zephyrs are off to the Round 2 after an exciting Round 1 triumph.
New Orleans downed the Miami Tropics, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 5-4 win tonight at Crazies Ballpark wrapping up the series 4-3.
"It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Bob Grady, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series.
Grady put up a .400 with a .483 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 2 home runs, drove in 6 runs and scored 7 runs himself.
The New Orleans Zephyrs will play against the Tennessee Smokies in the next round. Tennessee won their series against the Fresno Grizzlies 4 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.

Lookouts Win Round 1

The Chattanooga Lookouts appear confident and poised as they head off to the Round 2, after eliminating the Columbus Clippers by a series score of 4-2 in the Round 1.
"Things are clicking, it feels like this could be our year," said Chattanooga pitcher Micah Henney, who was named series MVP. "You hate to use the word destiny, but it feels special."
The Lookouts won the final game by a 2-0 count at Desert Sharks Ballpark to wrap up the series.
For the series, Henney had a 1.08 ERA over 8.1 innings pitched. He added 6 strikeouts with a 1-0 record.
The Chattanooga Lookouts will play against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in the next round. Salem-Keizer won their series against the Virginia Black Bears 4 games to 1. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
