Seawolves Suffer One-Run Loss at Washington
|
Washington left-hander Alex Dugar pitched his team to victory over the Erie Seawolves at Palmer Stadium. The final score was 3-2. Bob Cruz closed it out for his 5th save. The win puts Washington at 20-33.
Jeff Greene, who is tied for 8th in the HL in home runs with 9, chipped in a solo home run for Washington in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Erie skipper Skye Bolt.
