Millers Earn Late Win
The Minneapolis Millers faced a tough opponent in Mexico City pitcher Tim Poth, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Paul Bunyan Stadium by a final score of 3-2. Poth went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Minneapolis reliever Juan Guajardo picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Caden Zwier was tagged with the loss. Minneapolis now owns a record of 18-20.

José Garza was the walk-off hero for Minneapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Millers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"The crowd was juiced," said Garza.
